About me

I am a PhD student at the Division of Applied Thermodynamics and Refrigeration at the Department of Energy Technology, focusing my research on in Energy Management in Sports Facilities. As part of my engineering degree at KTH, I earned a BSc in Energy and Environment and a MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering.

Combining my academic and elite athlete background my research aims to improve energy and resource efficiency in sport facilities, while preserving the user perspective, and in a broader context foster innovation and sustainability in the built environment. As part of the ongoing project SPORT-RENOV, I am analyzing energy performance in sport facilities, through simulations and in-situ field measurements. Beyond techno-economic performance, innovative approaches for renovation as well as AI-driven control and predictive maintenance are investigated. To improve energy renovations, my research also aims to develop tools addressing conflicting objectives such as comfort, economy, and efficiency, depending on different stakeholder perspectives.
