Gabriele Bernardis

I am a PhD Candidate working on Hydrological Extremes Forecasting at the Dept. of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED). My research revolves around seasonal forecasting of drought-to-floods events through the integration of multi-source Earth observation data, advanced machine learning and data assimilation.

I received my MSc degree in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering in 2026 at Politecnico di Milano.
