About me

Bhanu received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi Technological University, New Delhi, India in 2016. He joined KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the year 2018 to start his M.Sc. in Electric Power Engineering. Since 2020, he has been a PhD student in the Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems at KTH.

His research during his PhD studies at KTH is focused on reliability and health diagnostics of power semiconductor modules. During his reseach, he has been working on thermo-mechanical modeling of power semiconductor modules and their lifetime estimation using data-driven and physics-based lifetime models. Part of his research also focuses on identifying the degradation mechanisms and corresponding condition monitoring parameters that lead to various failures in power semiconductor modules during operation.

Bhanu's PhD project is funded by Powerized (EU project supported by Chips Joint Undertaking and its members) and Hemizero (Vinnova project supported by Energimyndigheten).
