Collaborative project with CAVIDI
Quantification of low-abundant biomarkers for personilised medicine
A collaborative project is conducted together with CAVIDI focusing on enhancing the sensitivity of biomarker detection in body fluids, particularly in the context of muscular dystrophies such as Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy. Existing proteomics tools face challenges due to the complex nature of serum, which contains a wide range of proteins at varying concentrations. This variability often hampers the quantification of low-abundant proteins, leading to a bias toward more abundant biomarkers.
