About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at KTH in the group of Prof. Aris Gionis. My broad research interests lie in data mining and machine learning, especially in social computing, fairness, and explainability. I currently work on project REBOUND, which focuses on understanding and mitigating phenomena of bias and polarization in online media.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, DFKI in the group of Prof. Sebastian Vollmer, where I worked on problems related to event detection and learning from noisy data. I obtained my Ph.D. from Halmstad University, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Slawomir Nowaczyk. My thesis focused on human-in-the-loop and explainable anomaly detection in complex datasets.
