Christoffer Forsberg

I am a doctoral student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. My research focuses on how digital technologies and occupancy monitoring can support more efficient use of building space and contribute to more sustainable building management.

My research explores the relationship between space use efficiency, building energy use, and greenhouse gas emissions. I am interested in how occupancy data and digital tools can support better-informed decisions about the use of existing buildings, reduce energy use, and help avoid the climate impacts associated with new construction.

More broadly, I am interested in how digitalisation can contribute to climate change mitigation and more resource-efficient buildings. My work examines how data-driven approaches can support more sustainable decisions in building and facility management, with a focus on improving space use and reducing the environmental impact of the built environment.
