Machine Learning for Ship Hull Design.

My project focuses on applying Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to optimise ship hull design to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions. By using these technologies, the study investigates novel approaches such automated shape modification and hull optimisation to satisfy the more stringent guidelines established by the IMO's 2023 Greenhouse Gas Strategy. This work aims to simplify ship design processes, adjusting to changing standards, and support the maritime industry's transition to sustainability.
