Daniel Hutchinson

I work as a project manager at the Research Support Office, where I provide management support for EU funded research projects. Currently, I am the manager of the Horizon Europe projects ACTIVA (https://www.kth.se/activa), TauEB (https://www.taueb-project.eu/) and VOLUMINEX (https://www.voluminex-project.eu/). I also managed the Horizon 2020 project BoneFix, which ran from October 2020 till August 2025. I also provide proposal writing support for researchers looking to apply for EU funding as a coordinator, depending on my availability.

I have a PhD in inorganic chemistry with a background in X-ray crystallography, organic synthesis and polymer composites for hard tissue repair. Before working as a project manager, I worked as a researcher in the Department of Fibre and Polymer Technology, CBH school.
