Professor of Acoustic and Phonetic Analysis
David House joined the department in 1998 as associate professor and was appointed full professor of acoustic and phonetic analysis in 2007. Current research activity involves interactional aspects of spoken face-to-face communication including multimodal prosody, speech and gesture, speech perception and multimodal speech corpora.
Ph.D. in phonetics, Lund University, 1991. Previous affiliations: Department of Linguistics and Phonetics, Lund University (1982-1997), Department of Logopedics and Phoniatrics, Lund University (1992-1994) and Department of Languages, University of Skövde (1997-1998).
