David Selander is a lecturer of architectural representation in the bachelor year three of the Architecture program. He also teaches master's level seminary courses focused on applied AI. His teaching focuses on the relationship between meaning and form and he runs the visulisation studioDream Descriptions where he makes visualisations for architects, furniture designers and artists. He has a special interest in AI and how it can be appropriated for creative practice, seeing LLMs and image models as leverage for our creativity rather than an obstacle. He is currently employed atJägnefält Milton as an AI strategist.
David Selander has artworks in the permanent collection ofGöteborgs Konstmuseum where he is currently participating in the exhibitionApokalyps: Från yttersta domen till klimathot. He has exhibited inMilan Design Week,Den Fantastiska Platsen, Malmö Konstmuseum andCollectible Brussels amongst other venues. He has been published inHarper's Bazaar,Tidskriften Arkitektur,Kinfolk Magazine andArtwort, with an upcoming article in Italian news paperDomani during spring 2025.
