David Krantz

I am a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Mathematics, Flatiron Institute, in New York.

I received my PhD in Applied and Computational Mathematics from KTH in 2026, specializing in numerical analysis under the supervision of Anna-Karin Tornberg. My doctoral research focused on developing and analyzing accurate, stable, and efficient algorithms for boundary integral methods, with applications to Stokes flow and electrostatics. This work included numerical integration of nearly singular functions and efficient computation of long-range interactions in periodic domains.

I hold an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Lund University, specializing in Computation and Simulation.
