About me
I am a researcher, Principal Investigator and Docent in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the Department of Applied Physics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I work within the Light & Matter Physics division, where I currently supervise a PhD student and a postdoctoral researcher.
My research focuses on the electronic structure and ultrafast dynamics of quantum materials, particularly two-dimensional and topological materials, correlated electron systems and unconventional superconductors. I use angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, time-resolved ARPES and related momentum-resolved methods. At KTH, I contribute to the development and operation of the BALTAZAR time-resolved photoemission laboratory, and I also carry out experiments at synchrotrons and free-electron lasers. My aim is to understand how emergent quantum phases arise and how they can be investigated and controlled with light.
I lead research projects supported by the Swedish Research Council and the Carl Trygger Foundation. In 2025, I received the Göran Gustafsson Prize for Young Researchers. I have authored or co-authored 45 peer-reviewed publications.
