Catrin Edelbro

Catrin Edelbro holds a PhD in the area of the rock mass strength. She has vast experience in teaching and strategic education development within rock mechanics and rock engineering. Catrin has experience from research and project management in rock mechanics and rock technology from both the tunnel and the mining sector. Catrin has also gained experience in project management from her previous role as Deputy Head of Department at Luleå University of Technology.

Catrin works as principal rock mechanics engineer at Itasca Consultants AB in Luleå, Sweden. The focus, as Adjunct Professor at KTH, will be on risk assessment and management in all types of rock structures.
