About me

Blood plasma proteome profiling in cardiovascular and other blood diseases

My PhD focuses mainly on identifying protein signatures in blood plasma that are associated with cardiovascular diseases, encompassing both thrombotic and atherosclerotic diseases. Other collaboratory projects have involved investigation of the HIV-1, as well as the AML plasma proteome. To identify these protein signatures, I apply both statistical and machine learning models on the latest proteomics platforms. Other research topics includes integration of several "omics" to explore the human biology, and contributing to the Human Protein Atlas (HPA).
