In my doctoral project, which is part of the research school TRANSPLACE, I explore tools for an urban planning practice that more extensively accounts for the more-than-human. The project investigates the transformative potential that sensory experiences can hold in planning contexts — how methods that sharpen sensory presence in a place can influence how planners perceive and shape it — in relation to more-than-human worlds.
