About me

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED). In December 2024, I defended my licentiate thesis “Shared mobility services as a part of a transport-efficient society? Mobility service business models in focus”, which examined how mobility-service business models can contribute to a more transport-efficient society. I am now continuing my doctoral studies toward the final dissertation.

My research explores how innovative mobility services—particularly shared mobility and digital platforms—support the transition to more sustainable urban transportation systems. I am especially interested in public–private collaborations as a pathway to enable such transitions, focusing on both digital and physical integration. Examples include experiments with Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and the development of mobility hubs.

In recent years, I have become engaged in transition studies and have drawn on Actor–Network Theory in my publications to better understand how different actors, technologies, and governance arrangements interact in shaping mobility transitions.
