Frederic Huy Tran
About me
A.I. & Robotics enthusiast, fresh graduate from Sorbonne Université, I've been awarded with an M.Sc. degree in Advanced Systems & Robotics (Class 2020).
I am currently working closely with PhD student Daniel Olof Sabel, as a research engineer on the topic of point cloud data matching using motion stereo with monocular cameras for drone positioning (computer vision) within the RPL Lab in Pr. Atsuto Maki's team, at the school of EECS. Until March 2021, I acted as the Head of Alumni’s Department at the Association of the Master of Engineering of Sorbonne Université (AMI SU) and was Vice-President until 2018.
My research interests are :
Mobile Robotics and A.I. technologies such as : Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision. I also have strong interests in Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, Haptics and Space Engineering.
