Om mig
I am a PhD student in Visual Optics, with primary research focusing on multifocal contact lenses for peripheral vision.
I work as a PAD for the Department of Applied Physics. In addition, I am an Educational Manager & Webmaster for the School of Engineering Sciences.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics (double major), which provided me with a foundation to explore the intersection of fundamental physics and engineering in the field of optics. After completing a master’s degree focused on the ophthalmic applications of optics, my research experience increased my interest for practical optical technologies that enhance visual performance, leading me to pursue a PhD in the field.
I'm a teaching assistant in Optics 1 and Optics 2 for the optometry students at Karolinska Institute.
