About me

Georgios Vasileiou is a Ph.D. candidate with the division of Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Systems theory in the Department of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research is advised by Prof. Silun Zhang. He is also a student at the WASP Graduate School.

He previously obtained his Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, with a focus on System’s Theory and Control. His master thesis, entitledDistributed Control for the Optimal Consensus of Nonlinear Agents, was advised by Prof. Haris E. Psillakis.

His current research interests lie at the intersection of adaptive control, learning, and game theory, with a focus on decision-making under uncertainty and information asymmetry. He is particularly interested in Incentive Design for noncooperative games, specifically developing adaptive incentive policies with provable regret and consistency guarantees. Applications of interest include demand-side management in smart energy systems, data crowdsourcing in federated learning markets, and congestion-aware resource allocation.
