Simon Gökstorp

Simon Gökstorp is a Ph.D. student at the Division of Network and Systems Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (starting April 2021), supervised by Prof. Pontus Johnson, Prof. Carlo Fischione and Johan von Konow. His research interests lie in the intersection of machine learning and cybersecurity, especially in the use of machine learning techniques for automated intrusion detection and prevention.

He is a member of the EECS PhD Student Council Program as well as Responsible Doctoral Representative (PAD) for the NSE track of the Computer Science PhD program and represents the interest of PhD students on the school level.
