About me
Hamed Nazi received his B.Sc. degree with first-class honors in Electrical Engineering in 2015. He subsequently earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Power Electronics from the University of Tabriz, Iran, in 2017 and 2023, respectively. His doctoral research focused on the design and implementation of improved structures for single-stage battery chargers.
He began his industry career as an R&D Engineer at Motogen Company (2020–2023) in Iran, where he was involved in inverter design, motor control strategies, and the hardware/software development of power electronic systems. From Nov. 2023 to May 2025, he worked as an Electronics Engineer at Mapna Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company (MLC) in Iran, contributing to the design and development of electronic and power electronic systems for locomotive applications.
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. His research focuses on high-frequency medium-voltage DC-DC converters as part of the MoWiLife EU project.
