Huanxin Liao

I obtained the B.Eng. degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2021 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer and Information Engineering with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Shenzhen, China, in 2026.

My research focuses on the operation and market design of modern power systems, which includes electricity market operations considering transient dynamics and other operational factors, alongside climate-induced risk assessment.
