About me
Henric Zazzi is a bioinformatician with experience spanning both academia and industry.
He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Karolinska Institute, where he contributed to the Human Genome Project through research in gene sequencing and deletion mutagenesis.
After completing his doctoral studies, Henric joined AstraZeneca, where he worked as a bioinformatic software developer. In this role, he worked as the primary developer, and played a key part in developing genetic databases and statistical algorithms. His work focused on applying computational methods and bioinformatics tools to analyze large-scale genomic, and genetic, data supporting the progress of the company drug discovery.
Through his work, Henric bridges the gap between molecular biology and computational analysis. His expertise includes life science data analysis, software development, algorithm development, data integration, and database management.
Is currently a member of KCSC, where he provides advanced high-performance computing (HPC) support across a range of scientific disciplines.
