Research experiences are in the fields of open-channel flows and conduit hydraulics, dam refurbishment and dam-safety issues. Main research areas consist of physical hydraulic modelling, numerical computations and general hydraulic investigations, inclusive of spilwayenergy dissipation,dam-break issues, high-velocity two-phase flow modelling, hydraulic transients in hydropower plants, seepage flows in embankment dams and river sediment transport, etc.
