About me
Hi, I'm Eben! I completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Stony Brook University in 2020. I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at NXP Semiconductors from 2022 to 2026, and completed a Master's degree in Mathematics between 2023 and 2026 at TU Graz.
During my studies, I came to believe that embodied intelligence and neuromorphic computing are necessary if we are to build artificially intelligent systems that are more than simply a compressed form of their training data.
That is why I came to KTH to do a PhD at the Neurocomputing Systems Lab funded by the European Union's MSCA ELeVAtE Doctoral Network. My research focus is on active perception with mobile robots that have mounted retinomorphic cameras.
