Lazaro Moratelli Junior

My name is Lázaro Moratelli Jr and I’m from Brazil. I am a PhD in Naval Architecture at University of São Paulo (USP), where I also obtained my Master and Bachelor degrees in the same area. My first technical experience in automation has started in ABB and Festo companies in Brazil during my four year mechatronic technical programme. During my USP period, I have acquired expertise in designing and carrying out tests with scale surface ship models with dynamic positioning systems. My research areas are related to linear and nonlinear dynamic and control systems and also propulsive subsystems. My former position in a private company was about to an embedded system for controlling roll and manoeuvring of a leisure boat. I recently joined the Smart project team in the Maritime Robotics Laboratory of the School of Engineering Science at KTH as a postdoctoral researcher. My task is to contribute to AUV´s embedded system of this project.
