About me
I am a a postdoc researcher currently working on AI for climate action and the SDGs. I was granted a Marie Curie MSCA Postdoc Individual fellowship in spring 2024 with a project focused on sustainability benefits and environmental costs of AI investments.
My research interests lie at the intersection of digitalisation and climate change. In my postdoc I will work with AI methods to detect synergies across different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and I try to dveelop novel and sophisticated methods to inform policies at national and international level. The project is funded by Digital Futures and co-led by Prof. Ricardo Vinuesa and Prof. Fuso-Nerini.
I hold a PhD in Climate Change Sciences and Management from Ca' Foscari University of Venice. I am a climate economist by background (BA in Economics from University of Pisa, MSc in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan) with interest and expertise in computational and complexity methods. I am an affiliated researcher at Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) in Venice, Italy.
Prior to joining KTH, I worked as a postdoc at the Institute for Sustainable Resources (ISR) at University College London (UCL). There, I worked on computational methods for climate finance, climate policy and sustainable mineral resources.
I have experience in climatech, with particular focus on climate adaptation, climate services and AI-enabled applications. I am always thrilled about new developments in this field.
I am also a passionate science communicator: I am TEDx speaker (October 2022) and an appointed ambassador at the EU ClimatePact. I am one of the 50 global Rising Stars in ESG according to the Women of the Future Foundation.
