Lei Xu

Hei! My name is Lei Xu, and I recently joined the group as a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson.

I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria in Canada, supervised by Prof. Yang Shi. My research focuses on communication-efficient distributed nonconvex optimization. I am particularly interested in how we can design distributed algorithms that remain reliable and scalable even under limited communication bandwidth.
