Mohamed Rikaz Mohamed Ameer

Mohamed Rikaz is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Production Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he is nurturing his expertise in this field. As he is in his last semester of master studies, Rikaz is conducting his master thesis at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB, focusing on the climate impact from aero-engine components in the value chain. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), achieving an Upper Second Class degree. Rikaz has complemented his academic pursuits with hands-on roles, including serving as an Academic Instructor at SLIIT, a Mechanical Engineer Trainee at KIA Motors (Lanka) Limited, and an Automotive Engineer Trainee at Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited. He has contributed to impactful research, as evidenced by his publication on vibration quality improvement of a passenger seat and he was a memeber of SLIIT vehicle dynamics team for IMechE Student Racing Car event.
