About me

I am Modasser Hossain, a materials scientist working on semiconductor materials for optoelectronic applications. My research focuses on understanding how structural and compositional changes influence charge transport and device performance in emerging materials. I use advanced spectroscopic and microscopic techniques to investigate ion migration, charge dynamics, and structural evolution in perovskite systems.

At KTH, I work on automated experimental platforms for the fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices. By integrating robotics, high-throughput synthesis, and automated measurement workflows, my research aims to accelerate the discovery and optimization of next-generation semiconductor materials. I have particular interest in low-dimensional perovskites and emerging chalcohalide materials for energy and optoelectronic technologies.
