Mahmoud Sayed

Mahmoud Abdelwahab Fathy Sayed received his Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in August 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Saad S. M. Hassan (D.Sc.). He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. His research focuses on the design and development of electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring and biomedical diagnostics. In recognition of his work, he received the Innovation Award (Researchers Track) from Ain Shams University in July 2022 for his innovative research project entitled Wearable Sensors. He also completed a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN, USA, mentored by Prof. Philippe Bühlmann.
