About me

My research interests span the domains of complex systems, computational neuroscience, machine learning and public health. They primarily deal with the application of theoretical concepts to practical prototypes. Real world complex systems present themselves to us under the veneer of perdictability. Inherently they are dynamic and stochastic. Repercussions of mishandling these systems can be substantial. But knowledge about these systems and their behaviours can lead to interventions that can alter the system and its dynamics for the better. This, in essence, is the underlying philosophy of my research. I am currently working on developing a malaria information system, exploring the utility of dynamic brain modelling to detect diseases early and studying how meta-level behaviours can enhance learning systems.
