About me
I am aresearcher in experimental fluid mechanics with a background in aeronautics.
Currently, I am working with theNaval Architecture group on sailing aerodynamics within the European project H2020 ORCELLE (Wind as main propulsion by ORCELLE | Orcelle | Project | Fact Sheet | HORIZON | CORDIS | European Commission).
My research also focuses onfundamental fluid mechanics, particularly:
- Turbulence in free shear flows
- Flow control using both passive devices (e.g., surface roughnes) and active methods (e.g., plasma actuators).
- Bluff bodies aerodynamics
I employ a wide range ofwind tunnel measurement techniques, including pressure, force, and flow visualization methods and optical measurements such as PIV and LDV.
From 2023 to 2025, I am collaborating withISTM-KIT in Germany through aHumboldt Fellowship.
At KTH, you can find me atTeknikringen 8, entrance floor, at the end of the corridor in theSFL (Fluids Physics Lab).
