About me
I am an Industrial PhD Candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in collaboration with Scania/TRATON. My doctoral research focuses on the analytical modeling, degradation, and system-level optimization of advanced battery systems for commercial electromobility. A central focus of my work is understanding how cell-level behavior translates into battery system performance, and how manufacturing variability, thermal gradients, operational conditions, and techno-economic factors shape long-term degradation, lifetime prediction, and battery asset value.
I hold a Master of Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and previously worked as a Battery Systems Engineer at TWT GmbH in Munich. My expertise spans battery systems engineering, analytical and electro-thermal modeling, degradation analysis, advanced numerical simulations, and optimization. During my master's research with the Hilti Group, I focused on the thermal management and design optimization of battery systems.
My research lies at the intersection of battery science, systems engineering, and optimization. I develop battery management and optimization frameworks that translate cell-level degradation mechanisms into system-level decision-making, enabling more accurate lifetime prediction, intelligent operational strategies, and improved long-term value of battery systems for commercial electrified transport.
