Pedro Ferreira

I am a Digital Futures postdoctoral fellow at KTH, SciLifeLab and KI in Stockholm working on computational methods for the analysis of spatial and single-cell sequencing data from tumors, with Jens Lagergren (KTH, SciLifeLab) and Jonas Frisén (KI). I am interested in using cell lineages and trajectories to identify key processes involved in tumor progression.

I obtained my PhD in May 2024 from the department of Biosystems Science and Engineering of ETH Zürich, supervised by Niko Beerenwinkel and Jack Kuipers. I developed statistical models to extract information from high-throughput single-cell sequencing data and reconstruct the evolution of tumors. You can find more details in my personal website.
