Ruimin Shi

My name is Ruimin Shi, I am a doctoral student in Computer Science at KTH, in the division of Computational Science and Technology. I am part of the Scalable Parallel System Laboratory research group, supervised by  Prof. Ivy Peng.

My research interest is developing approaches for fast simulation, emulation, and evaluation of novel ARM SVE and RISC-V RVV designs in High Performance Computing and Machine Learning application domains.

• May 2026: Our paper  "An Energy Characterization Study of ML operators in XNNPACK on RISC-V Vector Hardware"was accepted to NextAccel'26 held in conjunction with ICS'26 (Blefast, UK)
• May 2026: Our paper "Closer in the Gap: Towards Portable Performance on RISC-V Vector Processors"was accepted to Euro-Par 2026 (Pisa, Italy) this summer! Acceptance rate: 26%.
• April 2026: I was honored IPDPS 2026 Student Travel Grants , 27% acceptance.
• February2026: Our paper "High-performance Vector-length Agnostic Quantum Circuit Simulations on ARM Processors" was accepted to IPDPS 2026 (New Orleans, USA).
• August 2025: Our paper "ARM SVE Unleashed: Performance and Insights Across HPC Applications on Nvidia Grace" was accepted to Euro-Par 2025 (Dresden, Germany).
