Sarah Vandenbulcke

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the division of biomedical imaging. My current work focuses on using finite element models to link parameters derived from advanced diffusion magnetic resonance imaging to brain mechanics. I am particularly interested in the biomechanics of the brain and its surrounding fluids (i.e., interstitial and cerebrospinal fluids) and in medical imaging. By combining these areas, I aim to gain more insight into how brain microstructure and mechanics are connected.
