About me

My academic degree is a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics and logic from Stockholm University.

I was employed as research enginer at Karolinska Institutet (1980-1982) and at KTH (1983-1985), and then as a researcher at SICS (1985-1999). I have been employed as teacher (university lecturer and temporary associate professor) at KTH since 1999. Since 2005 I was prefekt of the Computer Science department at the EECS school (2018-2021), head of department for SCS (2011-2024), head of the department ECS (2007-2010), head of department for IMIT's LECS department (2005-2007). I was also administrative manager at the ICT school (2007-2010). 1999-2024 I was director of studies for the undergraduate education in the various departments I belonged to.

Since September 2024 I am retired, but participate selectively and on a small scale in courses.

I am interested in logic programming and formal semantics for programming languages especially abstract interpretation.

I also have a background in electroacoustic music, specifically computer music, and have studied the first two years of medical education at KI with credits in histology, anatomy, medical chemistry, physiology, as well as medical statistics and medical physics.

I have also worked as a programmer and consultant in various projects in data communication and microcomputer support for research projects, as well as done an ex-job on the software architecture of the classic social media (BBS) KOM.
