About me

Isaac Skog received his BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. In 2010, he received a Ph.D. in Signal Processing with a thesis on low-cost navigation systems. In 2009, he spent five months with the Mobile Multi-Sensor System research team at the University of Calgary, Canada, as a visiting scholar, and in 2011, he spent four months at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, as a visiting scholar. Further, during the spring of 2019, he was a visiting researcher at the underwater research department at the FOI Swedish Defence Research Agency. Between 2010 and 2017, he was a researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.  Between 2017 and 2022, he was an assistant and later an associate professor in automatic control at Linköping University. Moreover, between 2022 and 2024, he was an associate professor in signal processing at Uppsala University.  Currently, he is an associate professor in communication systems at KTH. He also holds a position as an adjunct associate professor in automatic control at Linköping University, Sweden, and an adjunct position at FOI Swedish Defence Research Agency. He is the author and co-author of over 60 international journal and conference publications. He has also founded the two spin-off companies Movelo AB and S3 Research AB.
