About me

I am a PhD student in computational mathematics, supervised by Associate Professor Sara Zahedi. My research focuses on developing unfitted finite element methods both theoretically and numerically for PDEs such as the convection-diffusion equation, Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations, and Maxwell's equations. In particular, I am interested in developing numerical methods that discretely fulfill continuity equations, such as mass conservation, in domains that may have complicated shapes or evolve in time.
