About me
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working with Max Hamedi, developing smart materials by integrating engineered biomass with functional nanomaterials and conducting polymers.
Background:
I completed my PhD at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a thesis titled Dynamic Covalent Hydrogels: From Fundamental Chemistry to Functional Biomaterials, under the supervision of Anna Finne-Wistrand. My research focused on designing and characterizing stimuli-responsive biomaterials for applications in tissue engineering.
I conducted my MSc research in Prof. Bekir Dizman's group at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of 2-oxazoline monomers and polymers, the development of thermal latent curing agents for thermosetting resins, and the modification of carbon-based nanomaterials for composite applications. I graduated from the Materials Science and Nanoengineering department.
I received my BSc in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. My thesis was titled "Synthesis and Application of Hollow Carbon Nano Spheres in Active Protective Film Coatings by Loading Green Inhibitors for Self-Healing Performance."
