Ana Tanevska

I am working  as a Research Engineer in the Department of Theoretical Computer Science, and my primary task is supervising students working on their MSc degree projects.

I was previously a postdoctoral researcher in Trustworthy AI and Social Robotics, working on the EIC Pathfinder project SymAware, exploring how to design and implement cognitively-inspired frameworks for artificial agents that enable ethical and trustworthy human-agent and human-robot interaction.

My research interests include applied data science and analytics, trustworthy and ethical AI, assistive robotics, cognitive robot architectures, and social robotics. 

Beyond my research, I am passionate about research support, fostering community initiatives in academia, and grassroots activism.
