Om mig

About me

I am a PhD candidate in the energy technology department of the heat and power technology division. My work focuses on the environmental and social impact assessment of thermal energy storage systems and their intricate interplay with renewable energy sources, industrial heat recovery, and district heating networks. I focus on assessing and optimizing TES solutions through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) coupled with dynamic energy system modeling, for applications in decarbonizing industrial processes and supporting low-temperature heat generation. This work contributes to the broader goals of reducing carbon emissions in energy-intensive sectors and aligns with global efforts toward Sustainable Development Goals by fostering resilient and sustainable industries, cities, and communities.

Currently, my research activities at KTH are mostly performed in the context of a number of collaborative research projects:

  • HYBRIDplus: Advanced HYBRID solar plant with PCM storage solutions in sCO2 cycles

  • USES4HEAT: Underground Large Scale Seasonal Energy Storage for Decarbonized and Reliable Heat

Background

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Manipal Univerity, India in 2020. In 2023, finished my Master's degree in Renewable energy and Environmental engineering as a part of my dual degree at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Ecole Polytechnique Paris. I started the PhD at KTH in April 2024
