About me

As a researcher at the Center for Mechanics and Materials Design (MMD), my research focuses on computational materials science and aims to understand the relationship between microstructure and macroscopic properties for a wide range of metallic materials or complex structures. For bridging the microscopic and macroscopic scale, micromechanical modelling is used. In recent years, this modelling approach has been established as a powerful tool to systematically investigate the influence of different microstructural features on the mechanical properties.
