Om mig

I am a first-year Doctoral Student in Medical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, affiliated with  Division of Neuronic Engineering. My research focuses on developing and utilizing high-fidelity Finite Element models of the infant head to simulate biomechanical responses during impact events.

The primary goal of my work is to establish scientifically grounded injury criteria that can help distinguish between accidental falls and abusive head trauma (such as shaken baby syndrome). By quantifying stress, strain, and other mechanical metrics in brain tissues, I aim to provide a computational tool that assists clinicians and forensic experts in making more objective diagnoses.

Prior to joining KTH, I obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). During my Master's studies, I specialized in Robotics, focusing on Event-based SLAM algorithms for state estimation in uncertain environments. This background provided me with a strong foundation in deep learning, parameter estimation, and solving complex inverse problems—skills I now directly apply to the domain of computational biomechanics and injury analysis.
