Yuming Wen is a doctoral student working at the Unit of Process, Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
He graduated from Northeastern University (Shenyang, China) with a Bachelor's degree in Functional Materials in 2016. After that, he worked as an astronomy guide in Earth & Sky Ltd. (Lake Tekapo, New Zealand) from Aug. 2016 to Jan. 2017. At KTH, he got a Master's degree in Engineering Materials Science in 2019 and continued to conduct his Ph.D. study.
His researches focus on the pyrolysis of biomass and plastic, including the investigation of the potential application of the pyrolytic products (bio-activated carbon used for wastewater treatment), the mechanisms of the catalytic/synergistic effect during catalytic/co-pyrolysis, and the reforming of the produced bio-oil and pyro-gas.
His publications could be found in ResearchGate and Google Scholar, which the links are given on this page.
