Ph.D. student in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (since 2024)
My current research focuses on enhancing the assessment of corium progression and retention during both the in-vessel and ex-vessel phases of severe accidents in LWRs using a computational thermodynamic approach. The objective is to improve the accuracy of characterizing corium melting and crystallization behavior within the RPV lower head and in the ex-vessel debris bed.

During my master’s studies, I investigated the effects of liquid properties and surface characteristics on the droplet impact mechanism using the phase-field method. In parallel, I conducted numerical simulations of ex-vessel multi-nozzle spray cooling under severe accident conditions from an engineering perspective.
