About me
Zhihao Duan is a PhD Student at KTH Promobilia MoveAbility Lab, Department of Engineering Mechanics, under the supervision of Ruoli Wang.
My research focuses on developing and applying high-density electromyography techniques to investigate motor unit properties and their adaptation in neurological diseases. Specifically, I study how motor unit behavior and synergies adapt in neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury and stroke.
Through experimental data analysis and computational modeling, my work aims to provide new insights into the neural mechanisms underlying muscle coordination and motor dysfunction, ultimately contributing to the development of more effective neurorehabilitation strategies.
