About me

Zhou Zhou received his Ph.D. degree from KTH in 2019 focusing on fluid-structure interaction modeling and biofidelity evaluation of finite element head model. Afterward, he did his postdoc training at Stanford University in the US working on deciphering the mechanism of concussion in American football. Currently, Zhou Zhou works as a full-time  Assistant professor in KTH since 2021.

His current research focuses on integrating state-of-the-art biomedical imaging techniques with cutting-edge biomechanical modelling approaches to decipher the mechanisms of brain injury. The purpose is to advance mechanobiological understanding and enhance computational predictability of brain trauma with the ultimate goal of developing efficacious head protection strategies
