Examination and grading

Three individual homeworks

• General — 1000 points
• Algorithm — 600 points
• Implementation — 600 points

To pass the course and get at least an E, you need to get more than 50 % of general scores on each homework. All homeworks must be on time for a grade higher than E.

Grading: base grade is E. Increase grades by earning titles.

• Implementation scores
• 300 "Implementor of Bioinformatics Algorithms"
• 450 "Master Implementor of Bioinformatics Algorithms"

• Algorithm scores
• 300 "Designer of Bioinformatics Algorithms"
• 450 "Master Designer of Bioinformatics Algorithms"

To get an A, you must achieve both "Master Implementor of Bioinformatics Algorithms" and "Master Designer of Bioinformatics Algorithms".
